Product Overview

PT-60SP SDH Multiplexer is a member of Photel's PT-60 serial SDH/MSTP product family. This serial of products use MSTP/SDH as the key technology, and it is aimed at the access network establishment, providing TDM and Ethernet services including access, aggregation, exchange and management functions to meet the needs of today's network evolution. The member in the PT-60 serial includes PT-60AP, PT-60SP, PT-60MT, etc.

PT-60SP SDH Multiplexer is a carrier-class, cost-effective, compact (only 1U high), STM-1/STM-4 SDH/MSTP platform that is designed for application in metro and access networks to facilitate the efficient transport of traditional TDM and emerging data traffic for service providers. The service interfaces include: standard STM-1/STM-4, Ethernet, E1, E3/DS3, V35 etc. and herein the encapsulation protocol adopted by the Ethernet service conforms to G.7041.

PT-60SP SDH Multiplexer adopt modular design, it has 8 card slots, herein two slots support DC (1+1) power supply/AC power supply, and one slot is used for NMS management, and one slot is used for STM-1/STM-4 uplink card, and the other four slots are used for subscriber service, including STM-1, Ethernet, E1, E3/DS3,V.35 Etc.
